Kevin Costner’s Epic Western Saga Has More Trouble on the Horizon With Latest Update
The second movie in Kevin Costner’s massively ambitious, costly, and troubled Western franchise, Horizon, has been waiting in the wings for a release for what seems like a very long time. According to one star of the movie, despite several premieres and tentative dates for its release, the future of Horizon looks bleak and stuck in hostile territory.

Kevin Costner’s future seemed to be incredibly straightforward and certain a few years ago. He was the lead character in the mighty Yellowstone, and then he had this huge, ambitious Western project of his own bubbling away in the background. Then he decided that the movie saga that would become Horizon could not wait any longer, which led to him departing Taylor Sheridan’s hit series under a cloud and Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1 hitting theaters in 2024, with the second part expected to follow a couple of months later.
