CBS continues growing its broadcast slate, renewing a slew of series and officially confirming the future of the NCIS franchise. The network had previously announced its renewal for Boston Blue, Sheriff County, FBI, Ghosts, and new series Einstein and Cupertino.

In a new press release by Paramount, it was announced that CBS has renewed 10 more shows for its 2026-2027 slate. The original NCIS will return for season 24, while NCIS: Origins has been renewed for season 3, and NCIS: Sydney was renewed for season 4. Other shows renewed by the network were Tracker, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, Matlock, Elsbeth, Fire Country, Survivor, and The Amazing Race. The renewal for the three NCIS shows comes after the cancellation of NCIS: Tony & Ziva, marking a notable shift in the procedural franchise’s direction. The Paramount+ spin-off ran for 10 episodes before being officially pulled off the air, signaling CBS’s renewed focus on its broadcast NCIS lineup rather than expanding the series further into streaming-exclusive territory.
