Mark Harmon Reveals The Exact Moment He Knew NCIS Became An International Money-Making Monster For CBS

NCIS has been a much-loved and nostalgic series. And it took no time for Mark Harmon to become a household name. However, to the surprise of everyone, the polite actor realized his popularity years after the show made him famous. Talking to Queen Latifah, making an appearance on her show back in 2014, Harmon divulged his experience. In his thoughtful words, the actor first expressed how every star, be it a producer, actor, director, or anyone else starting a new journey with a series, thinks that his or her show will attract good numbers and acclaim from the audience. 

He then went on to add that his popularity struck him when he was in Austria. He described this event in a very poetic way: “walking down the street, in Salzburg, Austria. Lederhosen, horse carts, and cobblestones. Trying to take a little vacation. That’s the first time I knew the show was pretty popular.”
